UV Photometric O3 Analyzer

Principle of Operation

O3 absorbs ultraviolet light within the wavelength range between 200nm and 300nm with the maximum absorption wavelength at 253.7nm. The analyzer uses a low pressure mercury lamp with the ultraviolet light emission at 253.7nm to radiate the reference gas and the sample gas in the absorption cells in turn. After acquiring the intensity of light passing through both gases, the concentration of ozone can be calculated according to the Beer-Lambert Law.
